Dear Professional,
Several years ago, two friends went to the same university and when they left they
began very similar careers. Both decided to try a career in management.
Both decided to concentrate on developing their leadership skills and both decided
to work hard and offer their talents in building new products and services for their companies.
Both of these people started with the same money, and the overall vision of each was extremely
similar.

Both of these careers started out in low paid jobs. Money was very tight
and gaining ground was a struggle at every turn.

Four years later, "Person A" was still struggling along at a mediocre pace. "Person B" however, had improved his level 5 times and was making more than £5,000 a month.

What was the difference?

Effective Coaching.

You see, Person A believed that spending money on personal development, career planning and coaching and getting good advice - was something that had to wait. He felt his money was better spent with paying for courses on how to read a balance sheet and keeping up appearances. He also felt he needed to be more senior... and generating more income... before he could spend any money on developing a structured career plan.

Person B on the other hand, knew that without an effective career plan, he might plan to fail.  Hard skills such as reading a balance sheet were important yes, but managing your career was where the income got generated. So he invested in various growth-building strategies from the start. He asked around and found the best career coach he could afford, developed a cunning plan and they worked together to implement his career. He had his CV written by this skilled writer, so that everything available for employers or business prospects to read had a persuasive twist. He even created a viral marketing system, and made sure that all communication in that medium was carefully constructed together with an expert career coach and attuned to his overall personal brand.

It's All About Results
When Person B decided to create a career plan right from the start, he knew he was taking a risk. He had seen many coaches who wanted to be "good listeners", and "helpful"... or who concentrated on sending people to agencies and answering advertisements. For an individual just starting out though, Person B needed results. He was willing to spend the money to generate those results, but there had to be results - not just entertainment and "job descriptions".

And that's the kind of coaching you get from me. Call me on 0121 706 1623 or contact us / email.

Sincerely

Margaret Stead
